Dramas ~
Since my mum started watching the drama called 'The tree of heaven' (korean drama), I got hooked into it. The drama was in chinese subtitles which I can't read and understand. Furthermore, the audio was in korean so I could not understand a thing except the word 'oppa' which means older male friend or older brother. Due to my curiosity and interest in knowing the story, I went to youtube and tried finding an english subtitle version. I found one on a site that contains dramas of all versions with english subtitles and from there I became engage in the life of watching dramas. After the tree of heaven [really good, sad, lovely, though it's a tragedy], I watched the recommended good dramas such as:
*'Fated to love you' (Taiwanese) [this was one of my fav- songs very good, plot very interesting, actor/actresses are great!],
*'Devil beside me' (Taiwanese) - very good one, cute couple, nice songs.
*'Heartstrings' (korean) - like the songs, cute couple, simple story but it's good.
*'Stairway to heaven' (korean) -sad, good.
*'Boys over flower' (jap, taiwanese, chinese[halfway])- the plot is really good, famous among all dramas and mangas, cute couple.
...
I think that's all I can think of from my head.
It's now two and a half years since I started watching dramas online... that's what uni makes you do. haha, I used to stayed up late at night just to watch the episodes... that was when I lived by myself. Dramas can get addictive so try to watch one to two episodes a day at least. Though that can change so it's really up to you how you can balance it with school work. I rarely watch dramas now since they are the same - a girl and a boy like each other, conflicts occur, problem solved, they live happily ever after or one of them die. They can get tiring after watching a lot at once. It's only when I come across one that I want to watch then I do.
Well, that's my story of discovering dramas and life involved with it.
