Praying- Let's talk to God!
Praying is a Christian jargon word for talking. It is about communicating to God. There are many ways to talk to God and it's like a personal relationship between you and Him when you talk one to one with Him. Best yet, He listens and wants you to share your thoughts/day/and many other things to Him!
Praying can also be done by one self or with a group. It can be silent (speaking in one's mind) or saying to God out loud.
Here are the bible passages that can encourage you to know how to pray:
So you can talk to God about anything - your worries, your wants. One way or another, He will answers your prayers. The answers might not be what you want but that means that He knows what is the best for you so trust in Him and be patience in waiting. :) It is good to talk to someone just like it is good to talk to God, our heavenly father. He cares for us and wants us to talk to Him like any other person would want to. In the end, as you gradually comes to habit of talking to Him each day, you will find it is peaceful and wonderful to have someone side by side who listens and talks back to you through the bible, people around you, or through your church sermons. Those are just some of the examples of different ways that God answers to people's prayers. There are many others. Remember God works in mysteries ways! :)
