Aoi Tori (Blue Bird) [JapMovie]

Hi guys, hope you have a good day today!

This Japanese movie is called 'Aoi Tori' (In english: Blue Bird). It started off with students and a new substitute teacher coming to school for a new term. Before there was an incident involving a student named Noguchi who got bullied continuously and at the end could not take it and took his life. This substitute teacher did something unexpected on first day of school and that is to have Noguchi's desk be placed in the classroom of Grade 8 which was his class.

Starring Hiroshi Abe, Kanata Hongo, and Ayumi Ito. Enjoy this movie which unravel what happened behind the incident. Fill with sadness, and dealing with guilt and in the end the resolution. :) The ending is a bit similar to the english movie called "The Dead Poet's Society". The main topic deals with bullying. Very moving and inspiring. The music is lovely too.

I like this quote when a lady teacher asked the substitute teacher what to do to have students learn something from a mistake and this is what he said at the end:

"Teaching people something isn't easily done. Our job as teachers I think, is to always be there for our students. And if we're lucky, then perhaps we might be able to convey something."
